Community for Social Development Center (CSDC) is a non government; non profit making social development organization founded in 2000 A.D. and registered No 727/692/2056/2057 under organization registration act, 2034 and Affiliate in Social welfare council on No 11618/2057 under Social welfare Act, 2029. Organization has been renewed regularly till date. It has been serving the poor and excluded communities of Sunsari district to uplift the condition of health, sanitation, drinking water, livelihood and awareness since 2000 A.D in coordination with communities, government and non-government agencies of Sunsari district.
Since its establishment, organization has performed various projects in the area of Water and sanitation and hygiene, Livelihood and income generation, Social mobilization, Micro enterprise development, Immediate relief, Disaster early recovery and small scale programs in Capacity Building, Health, hygiene, Sanitation and Empowerment Sector in Sunsari district in the partnership with Local government bodies, Govt. line agencies, different International agencies, UN agencies and community people. In the area of water, Hygiene and sanitation CSDC has been working since last 15 years with the partnership of different NGOs, I/NGOs, GOs and local bodies Like; UNICEF, World Vision, Plan International Nepal, WSSDO, DDC and community level groups and committees.
We believe that community should realize the development process and social mobilization is an appropriate platform to ensure the realization as well as beneficiary’s involvement in development process. Beneficiary’s involvement empowerment, from the process of needs identification, program design with demand driven approach to execution gives the result what the project expect.
